SJO Hall of Fame Inductee Stephanie Canfield Stinnett

Stephanie Canfield Stinnett is a 2012 graduate of St. Joseph-Ogden High School where she was the Salutatorian of her class, an Illinois State Scholar, was involved in Student Council and played Softball.

During her years at SJO, she was All State and All Area in Softball for 3 years, broke all time IHSA hits and runs records, and held a career batting average of .561. She helped lead the 2012 Softball team to a 3rd place finish along with an overall career team record of 138 wins and 14 losses.

Stephanie was selected to the SJO All Decade team in 2010 and was featured in the Sports Illustrated Faces in the crowd
in 2012. Her other individual Softball stats include #3 on the all time IHSA single season hits, #7 on the all time IHSA single season runs, both in 2010. Upon graduation in 2012, she was #8 on the all time IHSA career stolen bases with 178.

Stephanie attended the University of Arkansas for her undergraduate degree while playing centerfielder for the Razorback softball team from 2013 to 2017.

Upon graduation she had the following stats:
● #1 all time career triples
● #3 all time career hits
● #2 all time career batting average
● #4 all time career runs scored
● #5 all time career on base percentage
● #7 all time stolen bases
● #9 all time career slugging percentage
● Finished 2017 season with a perfect fielding percentage
● Two time NFCA All American Scholar Athlete
● Received SEC Honor Roll recognition each year

She went on to earn a masters degree in Occupational Therapy from Washington University in STL.

Stephanie currently lives in Fayetteville, Arkansas with her husband and two children and works at a pediatric therapy clinic.
