Vendor Profile: J and J Plants

Tell me about your business. Jay and Jaylin, a father and son duo, are the prominent figures behind our family-run business. Their shared love and passion for plants has transformed into our thriving enterprise. Our expertise lies in tropical houseplants and succulents, rare & exotic

What has been the most challenging part about being a business owner?
I would say learning to juggle parenting, a full time job and our business. We want to continue to grow and be able to run the business full time. We have so many ideas, it’s really hard to do everything in the limited time we have.

What is the best part about working festivals? We love meeting and greeting with people! We always meet so many interesting people! We also love supporting the business putting on the festival.

What inspired you to go into business? Jay’s love for plants. The house was becoming quite the jungle, after Jay realized he could propagate, he wanted to grow to sell.

What is your favorite carnival food? Kelsey- Nachos, lemon shake ups. Jay- Anything on a stick. Jaylin- Cotton Candy. Alaina- Ice Cream!
