Vendor profile: Frosty Fresh Freeze Dried Foods

Tell me about your business.

Frosty Fresh Freeze Dried Foods. I sell mostly Freeze Dried candy so far. This winter I may start doing more fruits and vegetables. I just started in March of this year.

What has been the most challenging part about being a business owner?

Just getting all the paperwork done to get started. From the cottage food license to the tax ID and insurance. It was a lot to get started.

What is the best part about working festivals?

Festivals are exciting, I love seeing all the kids. We have been bringing my granddaughter all summer long and she’s been loving it!

What inspired you to go into business?

Having a breakdown. Well I bought the freeze dryer for personal use and then decided why not make some money at the same time.

What is your favorite carnival food?

Corn dogs and Cullers French fries
