Talk of the Town.. Ogden Mayor Gabe Clements

Every week we ask a village mayor, trustee, school administrator or school board member three questions. This week we talked to Ogden Mayor Gabe Clements.

This post is sponsored by St. Joseph Siding and Window.

What projects will the village be working on this summer?
Drainage Northeast and in the center of town and South west area by the four way stop. Also the resurfacing of main st from Market to East St to 150.

What will be the biggest issue facing the village this upcoming fiscal year?
The biggest issue will be the financial planning and ability to complete the Main St. resurfacing, and also the Northeast and the Southwest drainage project.

What is your opinion on the recycling dumpster?

I am in favor of the recycling dumpster, however I do not think that the center of a Village park is a good location for it and would like to see the township take possession of it and relocate it to their maintenance shed location in between Ogden and Royal, however they do not want it there due to having to deal with the issues that it causes when people dump items that are non recyclable.
