Senior spotlight: Chloe Duckett

Leading up to graduation, we asked five seniors five questions.
Next up is Chloe Duckett!

What will you be doing next year?
I will be attending Parkland Community College and studying to become a surgical technician. After Parkland, I plan on transferring to the U of I and getting my Bachelor degree.

What is your favorite memory from SJO?

My favorite SJO memory was being on homecoming court my freshman and senior year. Or anything that involved my friends and I making memories.

What have you learned at SJO that you will take with you into adulthood?
I’ve learned so much from my time at SJO. The most important thing I’ll take with me into my adulthood is that anything is possible. It doesn’t matter where you’re from, what your grades are, or who you know. If you want something and you work for it you can achieve it.

What are you looking forward to the most with graduation? I’m looking forward to going on a senior trip with all of my friends to Mexico. Also, I’m excited to start a new journey and have a lot more freedom in college.

What will you miss the most about SJO?
I’ll miss seeing my friends every day and all the awesome teachers that have been a part of my life and who I’ve made memories with for the last four years.
