There are numerous Halloween events coming up in the St. Joseph-Ogden area.

Bigger Scares 7:30 to 10 p.m.

St. Joseph Halloween Parade
Oct. 24
10 a.m.
Municipal Building
This parade starts at the Municipal Building and goes to downtown businesses for free trick or treating. Led by St. Joseph Mayor Jim Page.

Ogden’s Harvest Festival
Oct. 24
Noon to 3 p.m.
PVO South School Gym
Halloween costume contest judging starts at 12:45 p.m
Bingo, cake walk, guess how many, door prizes, games, photo ops.
Game tickets are 25 cents and games cost 1-2 tickets each.

Iota Sigma Halloween Movie event
Oct. 24
11:30 a.m.
St. Joseph American Legion Building
Iota Sigma presents a day of family friendly Halloween movies. Fun for the whole family.
Join them for three movies


11:30 a.m. – kids double feature
Toy Story of Terror and It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, total run time 52 minutes
Admission: $5 per person

2 p.m. Addams Family, PG-13
Admission: $5 kids 12 and under, $7 adults

5:30 p.m.
Hocus Pocus, PG-13
Admission: $5 kids 12 and under, $7 for adults

Concessions will be available. Come dressed in your best costumes.
This is a fundraising event to raise money for teacher grants, local library programs and summer reading programs, grants for performing arts.

2026 Trick, Treat and Fire Safety Night
Oct. 31
St. Joseph-Stanton Fire Station
5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
This year SJFPD will be combining their Fire Prevention Week efforts in with the Village’s Trick or Treat night. They will handing out candy and passing out fire safety goodie bags during the official Trick or Treat across town, on Saturday October 31st.
