Get to know Dave Kibler

Dave is running for St. Joseph Township Trustee.

Biographical Information
My name is Dave Kibler. I have been married to my wife, Nicole for 29 years and
raised our children, Wesley, Austin, and Tori in the St Joseph district. I graduated from St.
Joseph Ogden High School in 1986. I retired after 33 years working for Urbana Township. I
am currently continuing the Kibler farms, after my grandparents, and parents. I am a
current Trustee seeking reelection.

How would you describe what the township board does for people who don’t know?
The Township board of Trustee has meetings, open to the public, once a month with
all St Joe township elected officials to discuss concerns and business happenings within the
Township. Along with discussing and approving expenses generated monthly by the
Township.

What motivated you to run for township board?
Keeping St Joe Township a great place to live. I have lived on the same road, within a
mile, my whole life. I plan on keeping St Joe Township a great place for all residents to live.

What are your goals for the Township?

My goals are to keep overseeing the excellent services and road maintenance that
we currently have and try to improve anything that is needed.

What are the most pressing issues the Township is facing?
Do not allow the state to abolish Townships; the quality of service and road maintenance cannot be maintained by one unit of county government.

Why should people vote for you:
People should vote for me because I am committed to St Joe Township. I have lived
here my entire life and do not plan on leaving. I will do all that I can to help the Township
residents.

How will you make sure you work for the public and are accessible to constituents?
Being present in the community. Our meetings are open to the public and phone
numbers are public knowledge. We can’t address issues if we don’t know about them.
