McElroy-Smetzer resigns as village clerk

Tiffany McElroy-Smetzer has resigned as St. Joseph Village Clerk.

McElroy-Smetzer turned in a resignation letter to Mayor Tami Fruhling-Voges and Village Administrator Joe Hackney on Tuesday.

McElroy-Smetzer has served as the village clerk for 25 years. She also served on the St. Joseph Grade School Board for 16 years, the boards of Mt. Hope Cementary and Mt.
