4 questions with vendor Janeration

Tell me about your business? What items/services do you sell?
What started out as making hair bows for my daughter in 2020, turned into a continuous DIY cycle and evolution of the products I sell today – hair bows, bow ties, polymer clay earrings, beanies, scarves, mommy & me sets, bracelets, headbands, custom order shirts & vinyls, & my personal favorite – amigurumis. Spoiler alert! I will be featuring two new products at the St. Joseph Fall Festival – wood working items (made by my husband) & “wire art.”

What inspired you to start your business?
My daughter is definitely my biggest inspiration and challenger as I often hear – “Mom, I like this. Can you make it for me?” My husband and mom have also been continuous supportive forces in the growth of my business & I can’t thank them enough.

What is your favorite part about attending festivals/events?
As a vendor, I can’t tell you what my favorite part about attending festivals & events are because the St. Joseph Fall Festival will be my very first in person event!

What is your favorite fair food or carnival ride? (This is just a random fun question)
But as an attendee it’s definitely the food & the rides. You can’t go wrong with corn dogs, lemon shake ups, funnel cakes, Ferris wheel rides, & the BIG slides.
