Christmas village on display at Ogden Rose Library

A winter wonderland is on display at the Ogden Rose Library.

More than 500 holiday buildings are on display.

The owner, Roberta Morris spent 13 days setting up the display with a crew of eight helping.

“Christian Schlueter has known Roberta for a long time,” said Librarian Allison Wakefield. “Him and I are both on the Onward Ogden Events Committee and he came up with the idea of bringing it to the library because Roberta has not set it up in a few years.”

The display is open to the public on Wednesday 4-8 p.m., Friday 4-8 p.m. and Saturday Noon to 6 p.m. at the library located at 103 W. Main Street in Ogden.

Wakefield said the display is not just confined to the meeting room beside the library, but also in the library itself.

“When Christian asked my I was immediately on board,” she said. “When I met Roberta she said she had more than what could fit in the room and I asked if she wanted to set them up on the top of the shelves.”

Wakefield said people have come from hours away to see the village and in the first four days more than 200 people walked through the village.
