What do you think makes the team so successful?

I think the way our team is so close is what makes us so successful. We are friends on and off the court, which helps us play together.

What is your favorite thing about volleyball and the team?

My favorite thing about volleyball and the team is how close we all are and the memories we make while playing a sport we all love.

Do you have any pre-game rituals?

Before each game, I do Helene, Josey, and Peyton’s hair. It’s a ritual we’ve had all season.

What has been the most important thing Coach McDonald has taught you?

The most important thing Coach McDonald has taught me is that everything happens for a reason, we are able to overcome any obstacle and be successful.

What is the most challenging part about playing volleyball at SJO?

The most challenging part about playing volleyball at SJO is that past teams have built a successful program over the years, which makes us a target and every team wants to beat us.
