On Thursday evening a single vehicle hit and damaged the St. Joseph-Stanton Fire Protection District Building.

The vehicle hit the building at the corner of 3rd street and Warren Street.

Fire chief Josh Reese said the driver received minor injuries and was transported to the hospital.

Reese said the damages to the building which include outside masonry work and inside drywall work, will have to be repaired but no cost estimate was available at this time.
