Pageant currently accepting applications

The Champaign County Fair Queen Pageant is now accepting applications.  The pageant will be held July 18 at 2 p.m. at the City Center in Champaign. 

Little Miss Contestants must be between ages of 6 – 10 and 

Miss Contestants must be between the ages of 16 – 20. 

The fair takes place July 22 through July 31 and includes concerts by Gary Allen and The Beach Boys. 

In addition to attending all fair activities during fair week, the Queen and Little Miss will introduce the concerts, complete a Fair Improvement Project as well as attend other fundraising and agricultural events.

The contestants must reside in Champaign County for at least one year.

 An informational meeting is being held this tonight at  6 p.m. at the fair office and applications are due June 4 at 5 p.m.

Orientation and pictures of all the contestants will be held on June 14 at 6 p.m. 

All practices are held at Kessler Hall at the fairgrounds.

The pageant fundraiser is currently in process and ends Friday. The drawing will be live on Facebook.  Two winners will be selected to either win a Traeger Pellet Grill or a  Blackstone Cooking Station.  Tickets are still available for $20 each and can be purchased by messaging clicking on the QR code on the Facebook page.
