Live at St. Joseph Village Board Jan. 26, 2021

We are zooming here tonight.

In case you didn’t hear Jack Flash has pulled their request for a pour license so there will be no gambling at the gas station… for right now.

I must say though, their facility in Farmersville is literally the nicest gas station I have ever stepped foot in and I had no idea it actually had gambling in it.

Anyway, moving on.

There’s nothing too serious on the agenda tonight. They are supposed to set the date for the spring clean up.

VOLO is here. To discuss internet. #Pleasecometomyarea

One of our main projects for 2021.

Fiberoptic gigabit Internet $29.99 a month.

go to http://volo.net/sjo to let them know if you are interested. #notanad #reporting

Julie has some good news.

Recovering the money the village spent March through December. She found out that the village is approved for a reimbursement! $163,000 plus.

WOW.

GOOD WORK JULIE!!!

Tami reminding people to support our small local businesses.

They discussed some zoning issues earlier. I could’t hear really #zoom so I am going to ask for the minutes. I love zoning… but I know most people don’t care.

Discussing how there is no ‘high school soccer field” and how they need to have a formal agreement for upgrades, ect. since the hs uses the villages fields.

SPRING CLEAN UP! They will have one. Prepare yourselves and your junk. Date to be announced. You know the drill- no paint, chemicals, ect. It will be in May sometime. Don’t @me about the timeline not lining up with the community sales. #Justdoingourbest.

Meeting over.
