Talk of the Town….. with Gabe Clements

Every week we ask a village trustee, mayor, school board member or administrator three questions. This week we talked to Ogden Mayor Gabe Clements. This post is sponsored by www.stjoesiding.com

1. Recently, Ogden was featured in an article showcasing all the businesses within the village. What makes Ogden attractive to business owners?

I think Ogden is attractive to business owners due to our location near the interstate and also the short distance it is located from Champaign and Danville.

2. What sort of businesses would you like to see in Ogden?
I would like to see some sort of an anchor store that would draw in other larger businesses.

3. What does the village do to help business owners?
In the past tax incentives have been offered this was however this was before my time so I can’t really speak on the amounts of the incentives that were offered.
