Fine arts student of the month… Kabriel Schuster

Each month a committee of teachers selects a fine arts student of the month from nominees from the drama, art and music departments. We then ask them to answer some questions about their experience at SJO and what they like about the fine arts!

What is your favorite class at SJO?
Band because I love music and I love performing with my peers.

What are your plans for after high school?
I am going to major in instrumental and vocal performance.

What is the best thing about being a fine arts student at SJO?
The amazing people I have met and had the privilege of performing with.

What is the most difficult thing about being a fine arts student at SJO?
Knowing that I am leaving the people that I call family here when I graduate.

How does it make you feel to know your teacher nominated you for Fine Arts Student of the Month?
I feel honored to have been through of and am extremely grateful.

The teacher says: Kabe is a constant source of positive energy and encouragement to those around him. Kabe is exactly the type of student that I feel deserves to be recognized for his efforts. –Chuck Hess
