Senior spotlight… Mallory Ames

Every week we ask a St. Joseph-Ogden senior five questions. This week we spoke to Mallory Ames.

  1. What do you want to do after high school?
After high school I plan to attend the University of Illinois in an Ag related field, possibly education, communication, or business.
  2. What is your favorite thing about SJO?
My favorite thing about SJO is the relationship between the students and teachers. I have had the privilege of finding lifelong mentors and friends through my relationships with my teachers at SJO.
  3. Who is your biggest inspiration?
My biggest inspiration is my Mom and Dad. My parents have raised me to the best of their ability and I hope to become as successful as them in my future, as well as manage a family as well as they are able to.
  4. Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
In 10 years i see myself married and living somewhere where Ag is prevalent. I see myself beginning a family with two adorable dogs! I hope to be employed and rising to a CEO position of an Ag related company!
  5. What is your favorite class and why?
My favorite class is my vocational agriculture classes. Having Mrs. Duitsman has been amazing and I’m sure our future advisor will be just as wonderful! She has inspired me to pursue agriculture and has made learning enjoyable!
