10 things you don’t know about me… Dina Fox

My husband, Kerry, and I met when I was 18 years old in the middle of a snow storm.  We’ve been together ever since.

We have two girls.  Emilie is 18 and headed to EIU this fall as a freshman.  Hannah is 15 and will be a sophomore at SJO. We spend a lot of time in bleachers watching them at color guard competitions, drama productions, volleyball games, and horse shows.

I have a long standing Girl Scout “career”.  I was a scout for 7 years, I’ve been a leader for 13 years and have been co-director of Big Grove Day Camp for  6 years.

I am a huge Harry Potter fan.

I kill plants.  It’s not intentional but 100% true.

The little bit of traveling I’ve done, I love!  We’ve been to Disney many times (huge fan of Disney too), Alaska, Canada, and Europe (Germany, France and Amsterdam).

While I’m old school country, one of my all-time favorite songs is Sweet Child of Mine by Guns and Roses.

My hobbies include reading and baking.

I have always wanted a pet skunk.  I think they are adorable.

Family and friends are valued above all.
