Author to host talk at library

On Saturday, March 9th at 1 p.m. Maureen Hughes will be at the St. Joseph Township-Swearingen Memorial Library, 201 N. Third, St. Joseph, to talk about her book, “Satan at My Window”.

In 1966, Charles Whitman shot 41 people from the top of the Clocktower at the University of Texas in Austin. 19-year-old Adrian Littlefield, a seminary student was the second person shot; he survived.

His miraculous healing is a story in itself but the appearance of Satan who tried to control his life has never been written. 50 years after the shooting, Adrian tells the story of his faith in God and the strength God gave him to continue his calling to be a minister. Today, Adrian Littlefield travels the world preaching God’s Word and how He enriched Adrian’s life. This book is for anyone suffering from a tragedy or a traumatic experience. “Satan at My Window” is a help in the healing process.
