Join library staff for a free drop-in story time open to all children! The library offers the same program twice, Monday evening and Tuesday morning, every 2 weeks. Summer Camp Registration opens

SJO student council penny collection
School hours at SJO

The Student Council will be collecting donations for Pennies for Patients in all advisories through March 15. Prizes will be awarded to the the advisory classes that collect the most money. All money raised goes to help kids and families battling Leukemia.


St. Joseph Women’s Club Yearly Open House

The club is hosting its yearly open house. Come to the event and learn about the activities the club sponsors.

Audubon Photography Awards
Interpretive Center, Homer Lake Forest Preserve, During Regular Open Hours

Today’s best bird photography is a portal into the natural world, and these images from the Audubon Photography Awards will inspire and inform you. The twelve images on display were chosen from nearly 8,000 images submitted to the National Audubon Society in 2018 in the Amateur, Professional, and Youth categories. FREE. All ages.
