Valentine’s Day events to do this weekend

On Feb. 8 i-Power Gymnastics is hosting its most popular event of the year its Valentine’s Day Parents Night Out and sleepover.

The event is for ages 4-13 and runs from 6-10 p.m. The sleepover is for ages 6-13 and ends the next morning by 9 a.m. For parents night out the kids will enjoy playtime in the gym, movie, games and activities, a craft, pizza and dessert. For the sleepover, kids must be at least 6 years old.

The evening will begin at 6 p.m. and end at 9 a.m. the next morning (parents may pick up earlier if they prefer)

On Feb. 9 Chambanamoms is hosting their third playdate of the winter. There will be an afternoon of crafts, cookies, and community at Clark-Lindsey in Urbana from 3:00-4:30 p.m.

Children, families, and residents will have the opportunity to work together to create cards, play games, munch on cookies, and enjoy each other’s company.

A photo booth station will be set up for photo opportunities and music will be provided.

This event is free but they do ask that you register.

Parking will be available at Stone Creek Church (2502 South Race Street) in the southern portion of the lot. The north part of the lot will be reserved for a church function.
