10 things you don’t know about me… Alex Neubauer

Every week we ask residents to tell us 10 interesting facts about themselves. This week we talked to Alex Neubauer of Neubauer’s Barbershop and Shave Parlor.

This post is sponsored by St. Joseph Dairy Queen.

I would wear shorts and sandals every day if I could.

I purchased my shop after only having my barbers license a year.

I moved to Florida in a weeks notice.

When I lived in Florida I hit an alligator

My friends joke that they can’t take me anywhere, I will always run into someone I know.

I decided to go to barber school and start a new career when I was 30, after having one brief conversation with a new barber in the town I was living in.

I have have to clean my shower everyday before I get in it.

I have a 49cc scooter that I like to call Scooty Puff Sr.

I am a big fan of puns and “dad jokes”

I get a lot of grief for it but I have only seen one Star Wars movie ever.
