After discussing safety concerns with St. Joseph-Stanton Fire Protection District Fire Chief Josh Reese, The Record has decided to move the Fall Garage Sale dates to Sept. 28, 29 and 30 to avoid conflict with the Spartan Classic.
The Classic is the annual in-town cross country race which will see numerous roads closed and hundreds of cross country runners in town.
To participate in the fall sale residents must email garage sale ads to stjosephgaragesales@gmail.com to be included on the list and the map.
Ads will not be accepted in any other location other than the email address.
Ads must be in by Sept. 20 and include location, times, and items for sale.
Sales are usually held Thursday 3-7 p.m, Friday all day and Saturday 8 a.m. to noon.
