4 Questions with Clay All Day

Tell me about your business. What items/services do you sell? Clay All Day is a mother/daughter duo that creates handmade, polymer clay earrings. These affordable and stylish earrings are extremely lightweight, which makes them the perfect accent piece to any type of attire. All earring posts and backs are stainless steel, which makes them perfect for even the most sensitive ears. Since each piece is handmade, slight variations and differences may occur and quantities may be limited.

What inspired you to start your business? This hobby of creating clay earrings together started during the Spring of 2020 when Covid shut everything down. A very sweet family member of ours, who also makes these beautiful earrings, taught us everything we know. My daughter was hooked right from the beginning! So, we decided to take on this adventure together…since we had some spare time. Working together has been so much fun and I love the memories that we have been creating along the way!

What is your favorite part about attending festivals/events? My favorite part about attending the festival events is the overall sense of community that can be seen throughout the entire weekend. Being from a small town myself, it reminds me a lot of my childhood and attending all of the local fairs, festivals and parades. Also, being a teacher here in town, I really enjoy running into both my past and future students…GO PANTHERS!

What is your favorite fair food or carnival ride?
Me: Definitely a funnel cake! My daughter: The Rockets!
