1. What can people expect from the event?

To have a great time and meet our amazing Business owners! They will be able to try samples from various businesses, see some really cute animals, have your pictures taken with tractors and kids can even play in bounce houses! This is a mini version of Taste of Champaign, so we are really looking forward to this.

2. What are you looking forward to trying?

The fish fry. Brings back memories. My Grandfather used to help out with the fish fry at the fair every year. He also used to go fishing in Tennessee and fry up the fish. Not many people can make a fish sandwich that I’ll eat. So, I’m excited to try it.

3. What do you like about St. Joseph?

The Community Home feel. Everyone has been very welcoming since I have started here. We have some great residents.

I can’t say enough about how much I love my Job either. I have some of the best co-workers that make it so much fun.

4. What is your favorite food and why?

That’s a tough question because I’m a foodie! Have you tried the Cajun Chicken Alfredo from Roch’s? Love it! Debbie and I go on Mondays for lunch quite often. Now if we’re not talking St. Joe foods, I love to cook ham with mashed potatoes & ham gravy,  Or home-made chicken and noodles.

5. What has been your favorite part of working on the event?

The planning. I love to party plan, so this is right up my alley. I love to see people happy and have a great time. I have had so much fun especially with Luke Fisher from Public works, and Debbie Routh in the office, getting these details together. And I hope the Adults, Kids, and Kids at heart have as much fun at the event as we did putting this together.
