Village to host Taste of St. Joseph

The Village of St. Joseph wants residents to taste what the the has to offer.

The first-ever event will take place on June 9 and coincide with WCIA Our Town.

Taste of St. Joseph will take place throughout St. Joseph on June 9 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

All St. Joseph-based restaurants and businesses are welcome to participate.

The Blend Spot, Roch’s, Wyldewood Cellars, Jack Flash, Dairy Queen, The Wheelhouse, Caseys, Subway, the Ribcage and Monical’s are participating.

Customers will purchase a punch card that allows them to go to the participating restaurants for a sample-sized portion.  Punch cards are $15 and are for sale at the village hall.  A limited number of cards will be sold so residents are encouraged to buy them before the event.  They will be selling punch cards the night of the event if any remain. Proceeds from the punch cards will go to the St. Joseph Parks and Recreation.

Coinciding with the Taste of St. Joseph event, the Sons of the American Legion will be hosting a Fish Fry. Meals will cost $8.

Children will be able to enjoy a petting zoo sponsored by the St. Joseph-Ogden FFA, tractors and Public Works equipment in touch-a-truck activities and bounce houses donated by Wear ‘Em Out Jump houses.

Gallo Dance Studio will also perform.

Visit the Facebook event for more information.
