Holly Jolly event postponed

The annual Holly Jolly Kids Christmas event scheduled for Dec. 11 has been postponed.


The St. Joseph Stanton Fire Wife Tribe will meet in January to discuss holding a similar event at the fire station once COVID-19 numbers decrease.


The decision was made due to the rising COVID-19 cases in the area.


There are currently 102 COVID-19 positive cases in the St. Joseph zip code. St. Joseph Community School District #169 said they had a total of 29 positive cases and 38 students in quarantine.
