Painter appointed new trustee

Max Painter has been selected to fill an open trustee position in St. Joseph.

Republican caucus treasure and caucus committee member Amy McElroy said that the committee had three candidates to choose from but felt Painter was the right candidate at this time.

“Max’s name has been mentioned multiple times in the past as being someone who would be a great fit for the board and work on behalf of the citizens of St. Joseph,” McElroy said.

McElroy said that during his interview Painter showed he had a vision for the village and had ideas for how he could contribute to the betterment of the community.

“He displayed a passion for the town, a strong desire to see it grow and a willingness to serve his fellow residents,” she said.
