Senior spotlight: Kassie Kelso

Leading up to graduation, we asked five seniors five questions. Here are Kassie Kelso’s answers.

What will you be doing next year?
I’ll be going to MacMurray College in Jacksonville, IL to study psychology and sign language interpretation

What is your favorite memory from SJO?
My favorite memory is going to senior prom with my boyfriend, and hanging out with everybody afterwards at post-prom.

What have you learned at SJO that you will take with you into adulthood?
At SJO, I learned how to communicate with others. I learned that you don’t always agree with people but you still have to deal with them and accept them.

What are you looking forward to the most with graduation?
I look forward to starting my adult life and living in a dorm, as well as meeting new people.

What will you miss the most about SJO?
I will definitely miss watching the Friday night football games while cheering with everybody in the Maroon Platoon.
