Don’t miss this annual event! Quality perennials for both shade and sun. We are crazy gardeners who divide things from our yard and sell it so we can buy more new things! We have: Hosta, ginger, pulmonaria, epimeduim, Japanese painted and ostrich ferns, liriope, Joe Pye weed, sedum, coral bells, daylilies, Ice Dance carex, lily-of-the-valley, white and husker red penstemon, Siberian, Louisiana, and bearded iris, blackberry lily, columbine, bleeding hearts, circle flower, solomon’s seal, spiderwort, and more! Also a few shrubs: Annabelle Hydrangea, Blue Billows Hydrangea, lilac, and sweetshrub. These are good plants, most priced in $5 – $12 range. Cash, check, credit card.

Snowy Owl Presentation: 3-4 p.m.
Bring your family and friends to Homer Lake to celebrate International Migratory Bird Day and experience the sensations of spring! During the mist netting demonstration, see live birds up close. Local storyteller Kathleen Brinkmann will bring stories to life with a special performance. This year, we will have special guests from the Illinois Raptor Center doing a presentation with a live Snowy Owl! Throughout the day, learn all about the birds that live in and visit our preserves through activities, crafts, stories and more. Come and go as you please during program hours. FREE. All ages.
